Today I picked up my new flat pack fire pit ....funny the Engineering firm suggested I put this on...seems they have approval to sell as many WW1 related things as they like ..this is what I came up with

Yep already have drilled holes to take tent pegs to put campoven on or kettle

No this is a new one made locally ....the other has gone to scrap metal bin.

this is roughly 500mm long 360mm high and 310 wide at top....about twice as big as old one

I have a similar one and found it needed a few 1/2" holes drilled down low to make it burn better

No not yet...I have drilled holes in it to take tent pegs to hold campovens ...wont get to use it till we go away camping ...hopefully in September

We haven't been there for a couple of years, so wouldn't mind a day there.
