Trucks doing what they are designed to do.
I wouldn't do it to my 200 series though.
The 2 Patrols I had did plenty of this.
Ford Ranger did the Old Telegraph Track and went for plenty of swims.

MQ triton for me.For a 2.4 ltr turbo it produces a lot of torque.Enough to pull my mars camper.

My dad drives a BT50. A bit older than yours Gromet, but it's been a good car for him. They just bought a new caravan and it tows well from what they've told me

My four wheel driving days are over now.  The new motorhome is front wheel drive as is our little Suzuki Ignis that we use as our runabout at home.
