You are welcome to attach any camping, camp cooking or outdoor type photos here for others to enjoy. They do need to be smaller than 100 kb.  If you have any problems post a message on the Help Board.

Regards

Derek

What you have to do is start a new post or reply to one.

Once you tye the message look below the box you type the message in and there will be a browse button.  Click on that then navigate to where your photos are on your computer.  Select the one you want then simply click on the post button.

Remember that photos need to be below 100 kb.

Try in the test board first and see how you go.

Derek,

You know I looked for directions in the Help Section.  It wouldn't hurt to have them in two places.

Not having found the help, I went and hosted those pictures elsewhere.

Are you saying this section could be a hosting section?

BTW, I use a guide of no more than 640 x 480 pixels.  & under 70 kb, which is fairly standard for most forums.

&  I have been using IrfanView software for light software editing for more than two years.  It is so much easier to use than 'software that comes with computers', that it is incredible.  Here's the url  http://www.irfanview.com/  It's shareware, from Germany IIRC.

I am sorry that people are having trouble posting photos.  Like all servers mine has a limit as to what space I can use thats why upload photos are restrcted to below 100 kb.

The best program I have found for resizing photos is Microsoft Image Resizer.  It is available as a free download from Microsoft at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

Go to that page and download and install it on your computer.  Once it is installed go to where you have your photos and right click on a photo and on the menu that comes up you will see Resize Pictures  Select that

...

Then it will bring up this:

...

Select small then click on OK and it will create a reduced size photo.  I would suggest you play around a bit with different settings.  Remember dont click the check box for Resize the original picture as this will change the original and not make a copy and you could lose it.

Simple as that.

Camper Bear,  May I ask where you're hosting them?

Maybe a different person using different words might help.  I can try.
