Folks

Want to calculate how many heat beads to use with your camp oven.  I have set up a handy calculator on my website at http://www.aussiecampovencook.com/charcoalheatchart.htm

Enjoy

Derek  -  That calculater is great !  I see you also have it at the IDOS site.  My problem now is how to hook up the computer when campin' without electricity . . . .lol  Perhaps there is a steam driven computer ?  If not,  can someone invent one ?  (And I want royalties for the intellectual rights  -  lol).

Nice work,  mate.

JtB, a forum owns copyright, thus, all intellectual property rights to all posts by contributors.  I did some work on this earlier for a forum including academics and at least one entreprenneur amongst it's members.   For anyone interested, I'm sure I could still find my sources.

Re. the connection while camping, the most reliable is satellite, of course to the tune of about $5,000.00 USD or so (but I could be out of date), or increasingly wireless connectivity - with solar power I should think.

Cool

Thanks LK.  I was just kiddin'.  When I camp I like to get back to basics - put "civilization" behind me and commune with nature.  A "pewter" is the last thing I want when in the woods . . . .  lol

Derek how many degrees does a heat bead produce(F or C).We use Kingsford briquettes to produce about 10-15 degrees (F) pre briquette. That is on a moderately warm day and no wind.
