Hi, here are a few pics of what you are looking for.

The struts are 84 cm long when fully opened and are attached in the centre of the top.

This gives you an idea of what the whole top looks like open.  As you can see it's actually wider than the trailer

This is a close up of the hinge.  There are two of them.  Never seen this type before but it's good because if you want to take the top off it's simply a matter of undoing the bolts

This is the catch that holds it down.  I padlock them

This is how the strut attached to the top

I am building mine tonight so this is a big help.

Finding decent hinges however is another story on its own!
