Looks wonderful, I think!  Couldn't see through all the tears of that very sad, sad song.   Smiley Smiley Smiley
At least the dog didn't die!!

Wonderful presentation though, as always.

Thanks Jono I am thinking its going to be a handy oven, bit heavier for me and the grates (as I call them) are a bit awkward for me to manouver but I am getting there  Wink

I had sooooo much trouble getting one shipped but Julie (Mrs Mik) from http://www.rvingoutpost.com/ and who is a member of this forum organised it and I would suggest you contact her if you want one.

In the usa lots use it with just gas on the bottom, and if you look at the Camp Chef DOG photos there is one on gas and a few Volcanoes  Cheesy

Its also used for smoking with the wood chips put in the centre underneath.

Sparky has agreed to try a roast with gas the next time we go camping - gas and I dont get on too well  Cheesy  Cheesy

I am thinking that the roast in the bottom and vegies on top might be the way to go  Shocked

They look great Carolyn. That oven looks handy with the 2 shelves. I got to get me one of those.

Cheers

Claytons Happy Hour
Jun 6th, 2010, 10:40pm

As my weekend away was cancelled I decided to try out a couple of the Happy Hour things I planned to make at home.  I had hoped to do it under the gum trees but the rain came back again with a vengence so I took shelter at the side of the house.

These are not the Korean style chicken wings I did at Yarrawonga (I like them better) the flat cheese would have been better if it was the circle stuff but the tin smoked oysters crumbed and fried were great, pity I hadnt had a few tins  Cheesy
