For anybody thinking of making this...do it.
I tasted this at Saltbush Bills 50th, and 1 bowl wasn't enough.
Great tucker.

Fogcrawlers Sea Food Chowder

When Dean (Fogcrawler) posted this I thought hmmmmm but I couldnt get clams easy nor clam juice nor old bay seasoning.  I know lots love seafood so I thought when the opportunity arose I would make it for a crowd and surely some would like it.

I had queried with Dean what size oven for a half quantity and he felt the 12' would take the quantity.

What  did was halve the total seafood (roughly) and this worked out for me at one rather large marinari frozen packet and l uncooked peeled packet of large prawns and two tin of crabs.  If fresh was available I would use fresh prawns and crab but in a camping situation I felt frozen and tinned was a safer option.

I used supermarket Fish stock instead of the clam juice.

You can get Bay Seasoning which is the closest I could find for Old Bay Seasoning or google it and make your own.

This was very well received by everyone and I would not hesitate to make it again if I knew people liked seafood.

Here is a reminder of Deans Youtube and remember the "get info" button will give you the full recipe. Cheesy
