Got a bit close to the lid. Like the heading said "I just love this bread".
This is where I got it from.http://www.bakeandbrew.com.au/prod8.htm
I used gas on the bottom and heat beads on top.
This my first attempt at baking bread in the camp oven.

Was it as dark as you were chasing, brian?

Looks like a nice bake even with the 'custom pattern' on the top   Smiley

The judge's decision is final... unless the 3rd umpire is called for... or a facebook campaign goes viral !!!

LG yes it's exactly what I was after.
I highly recommend this type of bread. It is a 10/10 in my books. If you try it you will never go back to white bread again ever. Maybe even longer.

splutters.... not a hope in hell, hun!   Trying to get my lot to eat Multigrain is a battle.

My Hi Fibre looks like white and I can trick them with that one.  On the odd occasion I can get them to eat wholemeal, if I claim I couldn't do white for 'blah' reason   Wink
