This is just a little something I cooked up just because I felt like playing with my camp ovens.
I only made 2 as we only had one orange available.
They tasted real nice.

Mix bacon pieces , an egg, some cream and grated cheese.
Fill orange skins top with more cheese and bake in camp oven till cooked.

Looks and sounds yummo Brian.

I saw similar to these while trawling the net for a challenge recipe idea.

Where did you get your inspiration from ??   Smiley

Bacon and eggs with cheese on top = yummo!
Did any citrus flavour from the orange skin come through?

I often see half oranges used to make cakes/muffins and always think to myself... did you eat the orange first and save the skin, or did you simply scoop out the orange cos you wanted to use the skin and  will you use the orange for something else later. Tis a bit like the 'chicken and egg' puzzle - which comes first  hehehe

The judge's decision is final... unless the 3rd umpire is called for... or a facebook campaign goes viral !!!
