My Egglets arrived today from Hillbilly.

Very impressed with the quality.

If the frying pans are this heavy duty quality I am getting one as well.

David, the Hillbilly frying pans are commercial quality and amongst the best I have ever seen.

I'll second what Derek said. They are excellent frying pans.

Assume the Bushranger camp oven is the same heavy duty blue steel.

Looks like I will buy one to find out.  Jo Clews seems to like them.

Do many COCIA members use Bushking/Bushranger ovens?

While ordering I might as well throw in the Compact Campfire dish as well,  just for when we hit the road (one day) (soon).

I dont have any SMS camp ovens either,  am I missing something?
Oz Wit seem to like them.

Jo used the 12 litre Bushking to make the lemonade scones in the video.

If you intend buying one I strongly recomment the 12 litre - it is only slightly more expensive but gives you a lot more options where baking is concerned.  I also recommend you get the extension ring and canvas bag to go with it.

Personally I didnt bother with the vegie ring as I knew I could use a trimmed round cake rack instead - you probably wouldn't be able to do that with the 12 litre as it is bigger around as well as a bit taller.

The Bushranger (the one I have) is a 7 litre oven.  Just big enough for a 4.5qt cast iron oven to fit in with its canvas bag on.

The judge's decision is final... unless the 3rd umpire is called for... or a facebook campaign goes viral !!!

All comments are my personal opinion only and/or based on real life experiences.  No debate will be entered into.

Thanks Rufz,  I paid for the BushKing2 kit today plus extension ring.

Hope Beryl is out when the Postman delivers!

I bought this for the Motorhome,  could be better than carting cast iron pots around.

I may upgrade to the Compact Campfire Dish and cooking stand also.
