I am hoping to get it registered this week, it will not be finished but I can then start to road test it to check how I am going with the fittings in place. Now is the time I have to change anything as once it is finished it will be harder to do.

Have you weighed the trailer yet John?

I had hoped to be closer to finishing the camper, but it seems to take me longer to do things than I think I can. I have put of trying to get it ready to register it for a couple of weeks.

Any how I have finished the right folding wall, and started the back folding wall.

I have also sheeted the front storage area, it still needs to have the sheeting trimmed, and fit the doors.

John, are you going to have a gas installation?  If so would you need a certificate from an installer to get it registered??

I see those old batteries being put to good use again Smiley

Derek I am not having any hard plumbed in gas, I talked to a gas fitter locally it was just to hard.  Huh I could not get through to him, if I was to have gas fitted it needed to go in in the framing stage.

And so it should.

I am pretty sure that in every caravan I have owned as well as the motorhome the gas has been the least thing to go in.  Huge holes through the floor and the cupboards as well.  Everyone has been messy.

It just annoyed me that I could not get it done at that stage, so I have worked around it.
The hot water is on a swing out door with the gas and water hoses connected, I will use quick fit connectors to connect to the gas bottle. The gas bottle will not have to be moved to do this.
The kitchen, as it is on the out side any how I will just remove the gas bottle from the holder and connect it to the stove, also using quick connect fittings.
It will give me some thing to do as as Bonnie puts the roof of the camper up anyhow. Smiley
