I'm disappointed mikel that you won't be there. I was looking forward to catching up with you again. Good luck on the hunting.

Ron, we are members of a WA prospecting group with an annual meet. Limited to 25, bit like a COCIA COG, in fact some are members here also.
Each year a member pics a remote location so there is plenty of good camp cooking, refreshing beverages and many tall tales.
Hopefully a bit of gold too. This will be our 6th trip, a long way to go its usually a 15000km. round trip Huh
Will be catching up with you in 2017 Smiley

Next week we leave for an extended trip over to WA

Ahh, yes I remember you mentioning it but wasn't sure of time frame.

I hope that elusive kilo nugget comes your way.

Here it is next time I will use the elastic netting that butchers use as you can see by the tying on of the bacon was no boy scout
It was moist and tasty will definitely do it again

Looks good GROMET.

Next time I do a bunnie on he spit, I plan on just piercing the skin many times and plenty of basting with seasoned oil.

Way (WAY WAY) back I used to go ferreting and sell the results for 2/- a pair, skinned and gutted, have you seen the price lately?

Rob.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

Yes it is stupid the price for underground mullet. We get ours from the daughters inlaws in Adelaide when we are there. He shoots up in the mallie country,in the  freezer and I turn the portable fridge in the car into a freezer for the return trip. He also makes rabbit pies so we get a few of them as well
