Pea, Ham and Vegetable Soup with Toasted Damper
Ham Hock (or bacon bones) x1
Vegetable Stock x 500ml
Water x 500ml
Split Yellow Peas x ˝ packet
Potatoes x 2
Carrots x 2
Onion x 1
Pumpkin x 500gms
Salt and Pepper to taste

Wash and rinse Yellow Peas 3 times then soak in water over night.
Add Peas, Ham Hock, Stock and water to Camp Oven and bring to a boil.
Simmer for about 11/2 hours. Or until Peas are breaking up and ham is lifting off bone.
Dice the Vegetables and add to Soup.
Cook for about another 1 hour. Serve
