I am the only one that eats duck, so duck is out for me. I also want to cook bunnies, they are driving me nuts,  but I can not convince Bonnie they are just protein running around in our garden. Wink

There are no bunnies in Queensland..... apparently.   Shocked
I saw 2 on monday night making more bunnies near Brisbane airport.
No, they were not hares.   Smiley

We've got heaps of bunnies out here on the Gemfields, Aart. There are 3 or 4 that sneak into the yard each night and I've always reckoned that they were destined for the CO, but my wife gave them names and as soon as that happens, they are off limits as far as eating is concerned. She did the same with the chooks much to my displeasure.

Whenever I come home with a bucket of redclaw, I always check to see if she wants to call one Bob or Cyril or Gladys or something before they end up in the pot.  Grin

I have an APP on my mobile called Feral Scan.  You can record sightings of feral pests like rabbits.  There are a large number of them in Queensland.

Worth getting the APP and posting recordings. https://www.feralscan.org.au/

Here in the Lockyer Valley they are in plague proportions.

The newly released virus should see some decline in numbers over the next 12 months.

Well I got my dinner up. Was one hell of an effort trying to cook everything with only 2 camp ovens but I got through it ok and thoroughly enjoyed myself while doing it. Nearly four hours between my first photo and presentation photo. You may recognize my main meal from the drumstick challenge from May last year. After going through what ingredients I had in the cupboard and freezer, it was about the only meal I could come up with.
This has been my most involved outdoor cooking extravaganza since taking up CO cooking last year Cheesy My little cooking area in full swing, with 2 CO's on the go and rice on the camp stove. It was an organised mess!

Who else is still thinking about entering a 3 course challenge?

Something simple and easy is on my plans, hopefully soon.

I will be entering.
Did a main the other day but was not happy with how it looked.
Those that eat with their eyes would not vote for what I cooked.
