10 inch Metal Spinners using Heat Beads ( 9 & 11 formula ) on legs of lamb . Has been working well . Last night I added Veges for the first time 1/2 way through . Result was tha neither the Lamb or the Veges were cooked .what formula for heat beads should I have used please

Hi Greg and welcome.  Are you using a Bedourie or Aussie Camp Oven?

Must admit I have not used either only the 12 inch models.

Did the coals continue to burn?  If so then I would say not enough heat. 

On an oven that size I would use 6 or 7 Heat Beads under and 13 or 14 on top depending how it was going. The Aussie Oven is quite tall so an extra couple on top even.

We have talked about this a lot over the years but it doesn't hurt to lift the lid on a camp oven as the heat stays in it so next time I would keep a close eye on it and adjust the Heat Beads accordingly.
