Hi all. I have been out of the camping game for some 10 years and getting back into it. My partner of 2 years has indicated to me she likes camping and we have been away on a couple of trips. So I thought I would break out the camp oven and do her a roast.
I have a piece of Rump here at about 1.5 kilos and am going to throw it in the Hillbilly here at home to test her out. Now I don't like spice but she does. She loves cajun steak and I cant eat it I would like to add a bit of a rub to the meat so looking at a few suggestions.

As with all my gained recipes I add them to laminated cards and chuck them in the travel box so I am after a lot of suggestions. I normally put the meat on a cake rack with some fluid under it. I used to use water with a bit of stock but I see a lot use water and red wine. Give me some ideas please. Also whats with the vegimite I see mentioned here and there
