Hmmm.
Funny that I happen to drop in today?  Wink

G,day Guys.
It's like I was drawn to it by a sixth sense of something!

Been way too long since I logged in to say g'day!  Sad
Missed the last broke COG, despite Rory contacting me with an invite. (slack prick ey')

Been a bit busy with work, family & obsessed with a new hobby.  Cheesy

Will post a catch up thread in Chew The Fat shortly.

Cheers, Mick.

G'day Mick, good to hear that you are still out and about.
Sometimes I think about your butane stove and the BBQ plate you made for it, seems that is why they were eventually banned, the heat was deflected back onto the cartridge which exploded !!!
As Aart says, love all your pics.
Rob.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

Hi

Not much formality  Smiley

Basically just a social gathering of like minded people and we all bring our camp ovens, although much to Rufzgutz distress I did cook at one with my Weber Baby Q, and share the food.

We generally have some discussion about who is cooking what on each day so we don't end up with too much food and just generally enjoy each other's company.

If you come please don't expect that you will have to have to cook too much food if you don't feel so inclined.  In fact I would suggest that any newcomer come along just to join in and not even feel obliged to cook.

One or two dishes at the most over a weekend is all we each generally do.  I think the last COG over three days and nights I cooked a damper, mocha pudding and a shepherds pie.

Was looking forward to this. Big Red (June) has Doctors appointments around these dates and going for 1 day in hospital on the 14th. I said what a wonderful way to recover we go to Broke.

Then noticed that an appointment was on the 14th so they changed it to the 17th right in the middle this Doctor is hard to get in to see so had to take the 17th.

Nothing serious for the 1 day just a look at what is going on in the stomach.

The brother in law said make sure the camera goes in the mouth first as it tastes lousy after the other way.
Have a good cook up.
