Bush Turkey Stew
1 kg Chicken thigh fillet (approx.)
500 g mixed veg (approx.)
1 tin water chestnut
1 tin bamboo shoots
1 ltr chicken stock
1 ltr water (approx.)
salt and pepper if you want/ how you like it

Cook for about an Hour or so. can thicken it up with cornflour or plain flour if needed. Even great with pasta nests

Paradise Casserole
1 kg. Beef                 3 Onions
3 Carrots                  2 Cups Celery
˝ Cup Raisins           1 Tin Crushed Pineapple
2 Tbsp. Plain Flour     ˝ Tsp Ginger
1 Tsp. Paprika           2 Beef Stock Cubes
˝ cup Vinegar           1 Tin Tomatoes
˝ Cup Brown Sugar   1 Tsp Salt

Coat the meat with the flour ginger and paprika, then blown in camp oven. Remove and set aside.
Now fry the onion, celery and onions.
Place the meat back in the camp oven with the onion, carrot and celery plus the beef cubes, vinegar, tomatoes, sugar, pineapple (and juice), resins and salt.
Cook for about 3 hours at 180c.
Served with Potato, Beans and Damper

Kangaroo Burger

Ingredients
Kangaroo burger patties
Cheese
Tomato
Lettuce
Onion
Egg
Burger buns
Barbecue sauce

Method
Put sliced onion into a lightly oiled frypan. After a couple of minutes, put the burger patties in. Once done fry an egg and brown the insides of the burger buns in the same pan. Construct the burger in whatever order is preferred. Enjoy

500g mince
1 can of tomato soup
˝ cup rice
1 egg
salt and pepper
flour
water

...


...

Place mince,grated onion,flour,rice,salt and pepper in a bowl.
Add beaten egg and mix well together.
With floured hands form into balls.
Mix soup with 2 cans of water and heat to boiling point.

...

Place meat ball in the camp oven making only one layer.

...

Simmer gently for an hour. Serve hot with vegetables.

Corned Beef Dinner

Corned Beef, Silverside
potatoes
carrots
corn
onion
bay leaves
cloves
brown sugar

method

Put corned beef in campoven and add onion, sugar, bay leaf, and a couple of cloves.

Wander around camp having a beer or two. Smiley
About one hour before ready add potatoes, carrots, and corn.

Serve with peas and white sauce.
