Decided against staying at Sheba Dam last night as we needed the internet to do some things so meandered down to the Wallabadah Rest Area.

Nice to see this place now has hot showers.

Arrived at Broke. Good thing about the Motorhome is setting up is pulling the handbrake on and turning the motor off.

Quite cool here today. No camp ovens out but had a great visit from Murray (Cactus) and Judy.

Well we spent two days at Bathurst after leaving Broke.  Quite a historic town and well worth a visit.  Camped at the Showgrounds.

Today we are in Canberra having arrived yesterday afternoon.  Once again staying at the Exhibition Showgrounds.

Today we spent in Parliament House.  Had time in both the Seante and the House of Representatives.  Boy what an experience. Have seen it all on TV before but the real thing is well worth the experience.

Here is a photo of Maggie swanning down the marble staircase, one of the underground car park where you can actually drive a motorhome through and a couple from the top of the Telstra Tower at Black Mountain where we had a light breakfasted the top of the tower.

Tomorrow off to the War Memorial.

Headed up to the snow line today beyond Perisher.

Not as much snow as we have seen in previous years and most of the slopes are closed.  Snow is predicted tonight and tomorrow.

Was pretty cool at zero degrees on the car gauge.

Thanks for the photo from the tower Derek, I wondered what it looked like from way up there.
I looked at that tower from the car park and made my mind up that it was way to high for me to want to go any further Undecided.
I'm not particularly fond of heights.

Stopped alongside this creek for lunch.  It was totally frozen over.  The ice looked quite thick but I still didnt walk on it.  Smiley

The outside temp gauge on the car was showing minus two but there was a wind of 25 to 30 knots.  We weren't outside that long and even fully rugged up Maggie commented that it was the coldest she has ever felt.

Spent a few nights at Yarrangobilly.  Nice camp in the mountains.  Drop toilet and nothing else.

Beautiful location alongside a trout stream.  Currently closed season though.
