Greeting Friends,
I'm a scout leader and I found 3 camp ovens that nobody even knew were in the Q-store. So I would like some help with finding easy, nutritious recipes that my scouts can try both on camp and at the hall. Because scouts is about "learning by doing" and as I kid I was never allowed to help with the camp oven on family camps. my practical skills in this area are quite lacking, any help would be most appreciated. I know how awesome camp oven food can be and how easy they are use. but that's about it.
thanks.
Hagar The Horrible.

How Do HTH, I"ll put my thinking cap on and try to come up with a kid friendly easy tasty recipe if I can. Maybe something as simple as baked potatoes in there jackets with a bit of butter and pepper and salt could do the trick to begin with?
Ill put up another post in general chat detailing roughly how I do it , at times Ive done hundreds of these potatoes at one time.
