Been some discussion on another thread about this so thought it time to get the ball rolling.

Some great suggestions but we need a couple of decisions.

First off - When???

Second - Where???

We are away from home due to some family matters and I am only on my phone so limited internet access for a while so over to you all.

Cheers.

Mid October 'til November Cactus and myself will be doing our annual trip to Bendigo but would be interested in something along the Murray or northern Vic.
Another of my secret spots is Wantabadgery which is between Wagga Wagga and Gundagai, it's on the Murrumbidgee River, long drop toilets serviced by Junee Council, huge grassed area, fire pits and free. I stay here regularly, a great spot.
Rob.

When I die I hope my missus doesn't sell my camp ovens  for what I told her I paid for them. pd

Got a message from Pete the other day and he recommended Bowenville Reserve for the next SEQ COG.

I have not camped there but drove in for a visit a little while back. I think it would be great for a COG but would need to take our own wood for a fire or just use heat Beads.

Here is the link to WikiCamps - http://wikicamps.com.au/site/66378/27327633

It will be hot out there in November but generators are allowed if you have aircon.

Any thoughts for a family gathering closer to Brisvegas.
For an all day Sunday event. Arrive early, leave late.
More of a get to know you social gathering with a camp oven feed.
Just putting it out there.
Do we have enough members in this area?

Heifer creek is a nice spot on the Gatton/Clifton rd about 20mins from Gatton itself.

Im keen if I can fit it in ...got a lot on between now n Xmas. That place where we had the other GOG near Aratula wasn't bad.
The place where Aart scared all the neighbors when he turned up in uniform. Grin
