G'day . Thanks for having me here. I'm retired now, living on a small property in the Goulburn Valley in Vic. We've spent 35 years or so camping and cooking in camp ovens on the Murray River under the mighty red gums . We've always had a large camp and eat communally . We have a Kitty to pay for everything . Our Golden Rule is the Levee Bank Rule , i.e, what happens on one side of the levee , stays on that side ! We call our gang Camp FIFO , Fit in or F... Off. Babies probably conceived at our camp are now bringing their own babies , probably conceived at our camp . There are a lot of September birthdays !!! We eat a bit more healthily now but camp ovens still form a major part of our cooking equipment . Not as many fatty roasts now as in the past and not as many bacon and egg breakfasts enjoyed at our long tables . Look forward to reading all the past posts and threads . Cheers ....Huxter .
