Nice location for the next three days.  Caravan park is sprawled along the ocean front.

Seniors rates $29 a night down from $36.

This is the view from the rear of the motorhome.

Be sure to check out Sandon River to the South while your there, its only about a 15 min drive, nice little camping area there to, it does get busy though.
The national park to the North is worth a look and a walk on the beach looking at the cliff faces under the headlands in that area is interesting.
If I wasn't busy Id bring the boat down for a day and take you fishing for Flathead at Sandon.

Rory, this area is part of my stomping ground for fishing as a much younger person back in the 70’s and 80’s.

Blackfish and bream off the wall at Yamba during the day and big Jew at night.  Black drummer, Jew and the odd snapper off the headlands.  Once got a 30 lb blue fin tuna off the bluff at Iluka.

Sandon River I never got to fish but sure looks good.  Mates used to run out to the reef from Sandon and pick up baskets of snapper.

I didnt even put a fishing rod in this trip.

Just before I took this photo Maggie commented, isn’t it lovely to have our home in the country as well as this one at the beach.  Grin

Yell out next time your down that way , and Ill try to get there with the boat. Sandon River is a beautiful river to explore even if you don't fish.
Standing at the mouth you get the impression that its a very small river.
I was surprised at just how much of it there is to see, I still haven't seen the whole thing and Ive spent a bit of time there boating.

When the wind and waves come up the erosion stops for no one.

These were the steps at the bottom of a set of wooden stairs that went up onto the original bank that is no longer there.

Views from up on the headland this morning.  Fortunately the rain stayed in the hills and then disappeared.

Our last evening before heading back home in the morning.

I really must put some champagne flutes in the motorhome.  I do like the sparkly stuff.  Cheesy

Nice looking park and a good price for the location.

Cider, bubbly  Kiss. You should try some of the craft beers being made now. I enjoyed a ripper Lager last week. Only trouble is that $70 a carton is a bit rich for me.

I'm guessing that you was parked the proper way, but my preference would be to park on the concrete and sit on the grass area.
