I love jam drops.  I think I have posted this on the forum before but here is a different take on it.

250 gram pack dessicated coconut
Tin sweetened condensed milk
Strawberry jam

Mix the milk and coconut together.  Take spoonfuls of the mix and roll in a ball then imprint with your thumb and drop in a dollop of jam.

Cooked them in the Baby Q when we were staying in a caravan park

That's a lot different to mine Derek.
The recipe I used......
Jam Drops
125g butter, 100g caster sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 egg, 190g s/r flour, strawberry jam.
Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and beaten egg. Mix. Add flour. Mix.
Roll in to balls. Flatten slightly with fork. Make indent with finger and fill with jam. 170deg. c for 12min.
