Just to get things started who is interested in another COG at Alstonville in April? Derek and Maggie as well as Russel and Jilli won't be there and I have been asked if I would help to organise a get together there this year.
Let us know if you are keen so we can book in and get some firewood sorted. It is a prime spot and newcomers will be made most welcome.
No firm dates have been suggested but the weekend after Anzac day is favoured but this is flexible.

Rob.

Had it booked for the 19th april but the Anzac weekend would do. Only stopper for me is if the son is home then, visit are too few and too far apart to miss. Cheers Robert

Any weekend suits me. And yes it is probably a good idea to get on to it soon and secure the grounds for a date so as to avoid clashes with other events.

So what exactly has happened here Poddy, maybe you can update me ?
You and I talked about organizing this only about a week ago, now it seems to have been canceled all together in another thread?
Ive been away and busy as you know so lost track of what was happening.

I could have jumped in a bit quick here Rory so my apologies.

The last Rob spoke to me he said that as he couldn’t get much interest in this one he was going to give it a miss.

I know pretty much everyone has decided to head to South Aussie COG in May.

If someone wants to run with it still then all good.

No problem Derek, I'll give Poddy a call when I get time. KB still looks interested and Bear is in as a maybe.
I'm not sure my self its its worth going ahead with unless there is more people show some interest.

Just to bring anyone interested in the Alstonville 2018 COG up to date we've decided to pass this year and log it in for 2019. Seems there just weren't the numbers interested to make it worthwhile.
