Spent some time examining 16” Albion before with a price tag of $375. Looks in excellent condition.

What are people’s opinion of the price.

Price OK, I would have said anything under $425 would be reasonable but that's just my opinion.

Always said I wouldn’t buy any more ovens but heck, I would like one nice reasonably large one and this sure looks nice.

I had a feeling I might have seen some nice stuff down here if I kept my eyes open.

Maggie says “BUY” but I am procrastinating.  Cheesy Grin Grin

I would be happy to buy one of them in good condition at that price Derek. I'm very low on Albions and I do love them. If you don't buy it, forward me there number and I will  Smiley Smiley

Actually I have seen Tasmanian ovens on ebay fairly regularly over the years. You probably will find some nice ones down there. You will have a good time browsing anyway  Smiley Smiley

Bugger, bugger, bugger.

On a further close inspection it has a very fine crack nearly right through the lid.

16 inch Albions are a lovely ovens Derek, I have one and both the lid and pot are stamped.
From memory I think I payed / stole mine for $180, it sits pretty high in my list of favorite ovens in my collection.
As Poddy said $375 would have been good buying.
Keep your eyes open, I'm sure there are more bargains awaiting.

Derek. Make sure you go to the Longford markets, I picked up a 15" Furphy for $50 there, travelled back to Sydney by plane and carried it as cabin luggage where I put it in the overhead locker. Worried the whole trip it was going come down on my head.
