Nothing like that here Rory.
Friday night we had char grilled Cajun red emperor fillets with red potato chips n peas.
Last night chilli and soy marinated banana prawns with Malaysian noodles.
Tonight a medley of sweet peppers, snap peas, homemade tomato salsa, salami, haloumi fried in chorizo fat, salt biscuits and a Woolies vanilla bean crème caramel to take the good tastes out of the mouth.
Have enjoyed a few nice wines of late and have been enjoying a Bacardi carta fuego red spiced rum as a nightcap.
Too hot to light a fire (still restrictions) the New England Easter weather has been superb, and hope every one else has had an enjoyable break. Smiley

Just ordinary meals here.  Bratwurst sausages and veggies tonight, pork chop and veggies last night.

Nice farm fresh veggies like Brussel sprouts, Dutch cream potatoes, carrots, beans, peas.

Was that the Shiraz that had been matured in old whiskey barrels?

If so definitely a nice red.

It was the Derek, Derek ....I didn't look to see what it had been aged in , might have to go digging in the bin for a look at the label.

Ah different wine.  I remember now I gave your Mum the other one.

Yep the Derek wine isn’t too bad at all.
