The scenery, hills rolling down to the ocean......blew us away
Gale force winds......also blew us away.

Happened both times we were there tadpole, so here's hoping better for you and your kids.  Cheesy

Have been keeping an eye on the weather and it looks good at the moment. Apparently this is the best time of year to go down there so fingers crossed

Has anyone ever stopped in at Salmon Gums Community Caravan Park? Hoping to get there on Saturday night and start Sunday only a couple of hours out from the destination

FWIW there is a good camp spot beside the lake at Dundas.
Past Norseman on the Esperance road there is a sign pointing to the East.
From the notice board of the old township, the track veers slightly SE until the lake on the left and a few tracks to the right.
Be wary driving too close to the lake, you would have seen a few of those innocent looking shorelines  Shocked

Looking forward to seeing your photos.

We are contemplating heading west next year.  Maggie lived in in the south west of WA in her early 20’s.

When she went over there the Nullarbor was still a dirt road and they were driving a Torana  Shocked
