Saw this at the Cobb & Co Museum in Toowoomba today.  Couldn’t get close to it so not 100% on size but looked to be 24 inch.

Looks in good condition.

HI Derek
Could you tell what the other item is. Is it like some type of
kettle. Sorry as I never seen one before.

Commonly called a water fountain.  Sit it over the fire and boil water just like an urn.

I didn’t take much notice of it but a  Furphy branded one in good condition can bring up to $1200 easily.

Good chance it will be well protected in there as well.  Smiley

Do you know I stood back and watched for a while and not one of the dozens of people who walked through this section of the museum seemed to take any notice of it.  There was no sign indicating what it might be or what it’s history was.

At least it looks in good condition and will hopefully stay that way being in there. It is certainly being kept better than a lot the ovens we've seen in museums etc around the country. I wouldn't mind a water fountain like that one either.
