We picked up our brand new outback swan in November 2018 and have spent the last couple of months setting it up to suit our needs and learning a few tricks along the way. We had never owned a caravan before but spent plenty of nights camping so it's nice to have a few comforts on hand now. Our son is taking to the great outdoors like a duck to water so I'm sure he will have plenty of great memories as he gets older.  Here is a few snaps of our latest trip to a mates secret spot, only 45 minutes from home.

Its not burnt. Just really well done.

Know it well.  Do you know that North Arm Cove was one of the original places surveyed to be the Capital of Australia and not Canberra??

They decided against it for some reason.

I didn't know that Derek.  Probably knocked it back because of the mozzies.  They can be friendly there at times. Haha.

By the looks the young fella is loving it. Smiley  Great family memories being made mate; enjoy!

We had a Jayco Dove for 21 years and it was a great family camper and we certainly covered some country in it.

Tadpole, we often fish around here from our boat and catch heaps of trumpeter whiting, flathead and  bream. there is also plenty of blue swimmer crabs at the right time of year. we have only fished from the shore once and Korinne caught a small whiting while l was packing up. it's very shallow here, but l reakon early morning or into the evening on a high tide, with a bit of burley would be great. in the photo of the young blog asleep in the kayak, the water was only just past my knees.

Thanks Chally. he can be a handful at caravan parks, he likes saying hello to everyone so we have to keep a close eye on him. he is also great at taking the poles for the awnings down as we try and put it up which keeps us on our toes.

We went back to our new favorite free camping spot last weekend. Took a camp oven with us and made some sausage rolls for lunch. They turned out great but next time we will add some more ingredients. We also had a huge BBQ on the Baby Q for tea one night. I took the kayak out early one morning and caught 2 legal flathead and 6 nice whiting too. Safe to say we will be coming back here fairly often.
