Title: Fajitas Post by tom on Sep 18th, 2005 at 2:02am
Hello, I found this recipe and tried it out. It was quite tastey!
Fajitas Ingredients: 2 lbs steak sliced into thin strips (.91kgs) 1-2 packs flour tortillas 2 green peppers 1 large onion salsa 2T oil (30 mililiters) grated cheese sour cream (optional) Marinade: 1 cup salsa (237 mililiters) 1 cup Italian dressing (237 ml) 1 lime dash worchester sauce Equipment: 2 frypans tin foil ziplock bag Instructions: Place strips of steak and marinade in ziplock bag, place in fridge or cooler overnight before cooking (we do it the night before our campout). Slice onions and green peppers. Fry steak and onions/peppers in seperate pans (use oil for onions/peppers). Wrap tortillas in foil and heat on fire, turning occasionally. Everyone can grab a tortilla, add ingredients, roll up and enjoy - delicious! Feeds 4-8 depending on side dishes. Great with corn chips! Sorry if my conversions don't make sense. I live in the U.S. and don't know my way around the metric system too well. If I have converted incorrectly, please tell me what units to convert to. Thanks. Tom |
