Title: What is an old oven worth ?
Post by compass_camper on Apr 7^th, 2006 at 8:53pm

What is an old camp oven worth ? I suppose its what you're prepared to pay for it is the answer but if you came across an old 12" Metters or Furphy what would you pay for it ?
Reason I ask is because I've seen some Furphy's on eBay recently go for $165 or more, new ones are under $100 even if they are made in China.
The asking price for a Furphy 12" lid in a second hand shop in Vic $150 thank you very much. Is there any guide except your own pocket ? Rob.

I think it depends on how much money you are prepared to spend and how much you want it. Saw a 12 inch Furphy in a second hand shop recently for $150 that I thought was a bit much.
