Title: Another take on the PD Lid Lifter
Post by Little_Kopit on Sep 24th, 2006 at 6:19am
The quote here is a minor edit of what PD e-mailed awhile back.

Quote:
OK, the Poddy Dodger lid lifter, no licence needed to operate, first pic  shows two horizontal handles at top and right down the bottom centre a hook, this hook goes under the lid handle,

Quote:
squeeze the two handles together  and you have a firm hold on the lid,

Quote:
& with a firm enough to tilt the lid and tip the coals off, can't do that with a Lodge hook !!!

Quote:
The hook on the front leg on right of pic is to lift the whole pot via the bail off the fire or whatever.

Ok, that's the guts of what I put into the WordPerfect file, but I did more formatting here.  I don't see options for alignment of the photos here, for one.

Other L.K. logic is to put pictures in with what they are about, rather than off in another category.  & when photos are inserted from a photo host I find it easier to do a sequence like this.

:)
