Title: Savoury Italian Damper
Post by poddy dodger on Oct 26th, 2006 at 1:09pm
On our recent trip to Queensland we bush camped and cooked in our camp oven whenever possible, the hot weather and total fire bans made the last bit awkward. Tried Derek's recipe for savoury damper and it was terrific so I did it several times with variations like adding parmesan cheese, sultanas and so on; worked every time and is great toasted, very tasty.

Rob

Here's another one for you.  Rum and raisin damper.

Soak a cup of raisins in bundy rum overnight and the a sdtandard damper recipe add the raisins and half a cup of sugar.  Yummmmmmmmm.  ;)
