COOKING AT THE FIRE

Food is flying everywhere
Milk and Flour and Fat
There’s twigs and stones and leaves and dust
Now I'm not eating that

But all the fun of camping out
And cooking on a fire
Of serving tucker from a pot
Camp oven or some wire

Your mates all sitting telling yarns
And memories are rife
I do recall our last time out
When we were all in strife

The washing up was never done
Our clothes were dirty too
The cheese and kisses went right off
I've got enough to do

You've had your fun with camping out
You've slept beneath a tree
And then you sit and talk all day
And cleaning up's for me

Next time you go I'm telling you
If you expect some loving
You dirty it you camp in it
You clean your own camp oven

She who must be obeyed.

Methinks the camp oven cook is THE Furph!!!
