Gidday everyone,  decided to go out today and invest in a camp oven as im getting more into camping with the kids. After abit of reading of the forums etc I seasoned it and attempted to cook dinner in it tonight with some heat beads. ( at home in the backyard )
Well, for a first attempt im rapt with the result!!!!!!
Roast beef with potatoes, kumara, pumpkin and whole baby capsicum....
Beef was supurb.... and veges well cooked just need to work out how to brown them up.
Thankyou to Derek for this great site and looking forward to more cooking in the ' oven'
                      Regards Darren.

ONE camp oven ! Yeah most of us started out the same way and then castironitis kicked in, I think I need one a bit bigger or smaller, OH look at that little beauty I must have it. It's like eating peanuts, one is never enough.

First step as PD mentioned, get another oven dude!!
Do your meat in one, with oil in the bottom & the veg in the other without oil!! [smiley=thumbsup.gif] [smiley=thumbsup.gif] 8-) 8-)
