Title: G'day from Redlands.
Post by Troyk on Feb 2nd, 2008 at 4:44pm
G'day all.

I thought I should join up. Been pinching info off Derek's website for ages. Just cooking some Banana Muffins as we speak. :)

Keen camper, alogn with the wife and kids. Drive a mitsubishi Outlander and pull a Modcon soft floor camper, and prefer bush settings, mainly around SEQ.

I am ken to get into some more camp oven cooking, part from the roasts, muffins and damper, so I'll be looking for tips etc.

Normally I usually hang around on other forums like camping.com.au and my.swag.org, drop on by if you have a chance, but I'll drop by here regularly.

Cheers
Troy

G'day Troy,
love the Avatat mate ;D. I look a bit like that after a few reds and a big slush of CO tucker.
Is it relative to you too mate?  ;D LOL.
Look forward to your posts Troy.

I have been told I eat like a pig, but don't know if I am related to one.  :)

Cheers everyone for the welcomes.

Furphyslinger, getting any rain out Ipswich. We have had 80mm since midnight, but west of city seems to have had nothing according to BOM. Which means none in Wivenhoe. [smiley=25.gif]

Welcome Troy - we camper/trailer mostly just two of us but sometimes with the addition of one of our daughters and her two children 9 and 11.

My challenge is to cook things that we all like.....and to impress the neighbours  ;D

Wayne, I do like your cooking tables, not a common item in Oz. In fact I've never seen a commercially made one here, I made mine from pics I saw on the internet.
How about some pics of your tables, oh, and your pots too.
