Thanks Carolyn&Muzz
Yep its been raining here on the coast to but have had last 3days nice&sunny Unfortunately not good for swimming or fishing tho as our river looks like poo&apparently has some nasty bacteria floating around, have had some fish washing up on beach dead last couple days. They have closed the river. Felt for uor Xmas campers this yesr as they where washed out first two weeks then dirty water for the rest. Not much else to do down this way except the club&relax but nothing wrong with that... Best thing to come out of it all is the prawns...lots&lots at $8 a kilo...yum Cheers |

Hi Shaz,
welcome to our world & look forward to your imput.I have been holidaying at Evans Head since the early 60's and many memories remain of that place. I was rather fond of the bunjalung park and especially the Gooloombi Trail (excuse the spelling). Many many many nights were spent there with friends and Mr. Penfolds watching the sunset. I often recall the Turkey Chicken & Duck raffles we won at the RSL if only we had a camp oven!!. Regards Skip |
