Hi All,

Just a blanket email to those that have reponded to my posts and I have not respond too, cheers and thank you.

I have not managed to post much but do drop in from time to time to read everyones posts, life is just hectic at the moment, I have a family issue that cause a great amounts of stress, I can be good all day once getting home from work my poblem sends me to the fridge, needless to say in a period of 6 months I managed to put on 12 kgs.

I have now waken up to myself, have told her from now on when she starts t talk to the hand and I will grab my joggers and go for a walk, I now go to the gym each day (18 days straight) on the way home from work along with walking for 1 hr a day not letting my problem get in my way, 6 kgs down in 5 weeks with 6 kgs to go, no way am I going to be a blimp in my sons wedding photo's.

How would that be, he leaves the country in August last year with a mother that weights 70 kgs to see her 12 months later at 82, not a pretty sight.

You are not bloody wrong there  Derek, she even whats to come on my 1hr to 1 1/2 hr walks on one of those 4 wheeled go karts that all the olds have.

Wait till she finds out she has to go to respit for 5 weeks, hell has no fury like an 86 year old female with dementia.
