Title: Plough Disc Lid
Post by murray on Mar 13th, 2008 at 1:25pm
A 15" C/O I picked up the other day had no lid... a old plough disc I have used in the bush as a make shift griller some years ago fits just right.. a few modifications and this will do... until I can get my hands on the the real thing.. the fit is nice and snug all round...I will fit a charcoal / coals ring and a handle...keep you posted.

Hi Murray,

I can think of a 2nd use for you plough disk, I think it would make a great wok.

Do you know where I can get one.

Cheers

Hi Murray,

I never ment it literally when I asked for a plough disk, will tell you Murray I not silly enough not to take you up on your offer either, where else am I going to get one, I would not know where to start.

Please fill me in on the details on where to go.

I never realised that you lived at Swansea Murray, thought you lived at Blacksmiths.

I live at Gwandalan and travel over the hill 6 days out of 7, Saturday morning early is for pleasure.

Saturday morning I live home at about 6.15, I park my car under the apartments opposite the bridge and take a walk up to Coon Island (for those that don't know I'm not being racist, it actually is the name of the island) usually walk back past to the caravan park towards the other side of the lake to stretch my walk out to 1 hour.

Once back at my car I get my breakfast our of my esky about 150 gms Honeydew/rockmelon of a mixture of both with 50 gms of frozen mixed berries or rasberries along with 100 gms of no fat yoghurt and 30 gms of Muesli, cup of tea out of my thermos I then walk over to the bench on the channel have breakfast, when breakfast is done with I go to the ladies gym for 1/2 hr, what a way to start the day.

Now I'm being Cheeky Murray, bet I've seen more of Swansea Bridge then you have, have you ever seen Swansea Bridge from this angle.

I apologise to the person I stole the links from, I have to say Murray it's magical, words can not discribe it.

Cheers
Kate
