Title: Coulsty Post by Coulsty on Jun 2nd, 2008 at 12:06pm
Hi!
My name is Josh. Im only a youngen... 19 years old soon. My favorite campsites would be... Black Down Tablelands, Somerset Dam and Five Rocks. I like hiking too, done a few 10-15km hikes and rain prevented a 25km overnight hike a few years back. Cooking.. hmm, im not very good. But im keen to learn. The main prolem with me is that im vegetarian. Cheers guys. |

Hi Josh and welcome.
I have visited all those campsites myself. All great places and all completely different. Did a good hike up to the top of Mount Kosciusko in the snowy mountains just at the beginning of winter 2 years ago. 18 kilometers round trip if you go from Charlotte Pass. Something I always wanted to do and eventually did. Not sure if we have any vegetarians on board but some of the recipes in the recipe section could be ok. Look forward to hearing more from you mate. G'day Josh,
welcome mate. I don't think being a vegetarian will bother us here and I'll bet there are some of the good folk here that will help with some vegetarian recipes. Maybe thats another title we missed on the main page Derek. I had some vegetarian ravioli once and it was excellent hard to tell it never had meat in it. [smiley=chris.gif] In fact Josh you better get some recipes together and post away with them. :) All the best Skip |

G'day Josh and welcome.
There are plenty of vegetarian options mate. Do you eat eggs and dairy, or are you a full on vegtarian? I'd love to try some of your recipes, Goodness knows my waistline could do with it. Have a good day. TBF (Aart) |

Hey Josh
Welcome to the board mate. I've just added a recipe to the veggie board for you (and anyone else game) to try. Not actually a camp oven recipe but the old trusty cast iron frypan or bbq could get a workout. That is if you like mushrooms. Good luck with it mate. Robbo |
