I'm new to this site, and wanted to thank Derek for helping me setup a forum very recently.

I have been around the world a few times, but sadly, never made it down under. I still hope to visit Australia before it's all over for me, but only time, money and the good lord above knows when.

I am an avid cook, and I am looking forward to checking out this site to see if I can learn a new way of cooking and all kinds of other information.

Anyway, thanks again Derek for all of your help and I look forward to picking your brain again in the future.

Hi Mike and welcome, as an avid cook I hope you will share some different ideas and recipes with us. We are mostly very multicutural in our approach to spices and flavours.

I have been to over 30 countries around the world, visited all kinds of places but I do hope one day I get to see your beautiful country. Everyone I know that has ever been to Austrialia comes back raving about how much fun it was, how nice the people are and how much they felt at home....
