Title: Beginner's Question - Pot? Post by Two Bears on Aug 12th, 2008 at 5:42pm
Here is a photo of one of my pots. It looked like this after I had seasoned it. I gather it should have all turned black? Do I need to reseason it?
The photo below is the second pot and although it was all black it now is coming off. I am a bit reluctant to cook straight in it, ie a curry. HELP!!!!!! Desperato Barb |

Barb
It looks to me if you may not have cleaned it properly...so start again with high heat. Muzz |

Yep, not completely clean first Barb! [smiley=bath.gif]
Regards Skip [smiley=chris.gif] If you haven't done so have a read of seasoning in the tool bar. |

Love the bath Skip! I want to use the pots at the weekend. Will be unable to reseason before then. Still ok to cook in - if I use a cake tin? Barb |

No problems Barb-go for it. Just keep a thin wipe of oil on the pot, it can't rust then. :)
