While up at the Kingsthorpe COG, Derek showed me a stand that O could place a CO on to stop the coals underneath being smothered...

Any ideas where I can get one or two of these from???

That seems like it could work OK..

I really want something that is round to live in the CO tor transit...

(Ponders making an octagonal thingy instead of square...)

This is from Lodge Manufacturing here in the states and is designated as a folding stand to put your CO lid on, one could us it to hold up a legless oven.

Rastas - PD makes the greatest ones, here's a shot of what he gave me - they work wonderfully [smiley=chef.gif]

Living on the coast everything unfortunately rusts even when kept in a bag in the garage but these are sturdy enough to last a long time.

TwoBears who seems to be AWOL gave me the idea when she picked up a gas BBQ on a throwout pile. I found one and its the perfect height for me to put the CO on and doubles as a gas BBQ if needed. I looked to have a larger one made but as we are mostly just two I doubt I need much larger.

The folding one from Lodge seems to be the go.. I have a friend in the states that is getting some stuff for me so I will add that one to the list!!!

I paid $7.50 each in a camping store in Wagga Wagga. Have seen them quite a few times in different shops.
