"G'day All,
Just putting it out there. I reckon a COG up here in Sunny Central Queensland would be a hit (especially with the northerners). I would happily put my 25 acres up for the venue.
I'm thinking sometime in the first half of next year, maybe a long weekend, open for discussion. Lets start throwing some ideas around, wotta ya reckon???

OK, Jonno kicked the 2009 C.Q.COG off and we all had a ball so  lets get the 2010 C.Q.COG organized.
Hedlow was a great venue despite  the torrential rain all that attended had a ball.
I have a couple of locations around Mackay that would suit depending on what people want but am open to all suggestions and will go anywhere for a drink.

Mackay is a long way for some of us southerners to go Jono.  Getting to Hedlow nearly killed me.  ;D ;D ;D

What's wrong with Hedlow revisited.  ;)

Would this time of year be suitable???.....Less chance of rain in the north.
Also a lot more southerners might be encouraged to drive that far north to escape the cold........just a suggestion.

Flexible on dates SSB, just want a good gathering but remember it gets cold here in winter too, sometimes as low as 9 Deg  ;D

Sounds superb, I'm easy on the location. Its more to do with the crews that have to travel.

I am pretty confident that 2010 SUNNY CQ COG will produce better weather conditions then previously experienced at Hedlow.

I also think some of those award winning Meat Pies on Australia Day would top it off! (nudge SBB&L)

Totally agree with you on that SBB, the more the merrier and we would have to wait longer thats all  :'(

Its a long way for us but the thought of chilli crabs has me itching to go.  I know in here the problem always seems to be settling on a date with some working, some with schoolies and others retired.  When you settle on the date I will approach the MOTH.  Me!! I would be on a plane tomorrow for a feast of crab  :D :D
