As there is no Millmerran CO Fetival this year the Kingsthorpe Hotel are thinking of organising an alternative for people who are getting the twitches.
What I need to know is if this clashes with anything, date not set just October. KD |

The date is set in stone for Sunday 11 October at The Gowrie Hotel/Motel, Kingsthorpe. (between Toowoomba and Oakey)
Camping/Motorhome sites available. Motel accommodation available. Firewood supplied foc by the Hotel. No rules, no judges, just cooking and sharing like Thora. Main event is to be Sunday lunch. All enquiries to Lynne at: 07 46300277 KD |

Sadly I was advised today by the Gowrie Hotel Kingsthorpe Publican that they have deferred this event to a future date.
The school has a big Pro-Rodeo on Saturday and the pub are running the bar. The Pub darts team are holding an end of season break-up dinner at the Pub Saturday night. Seems that all the Kingsthorpe camp oven cooks (see last event pictures) are helping to pack up all the Rodeo shutes and fencing on Sunday. The Pub will be dismantling the bar on Sunday. It is all too much happening at once and they cannot cope with another event the same weekend Lynne said. KD |
