Derek send him an email as it says more than 10 available. He may not have listed 'em yet.

This is the Australian distributor on Stradbroke Island.
Janette and Gordon Dix.
I have one coming in the mail from them.
This is the real deal, hand-made in New Zealand - not China.
Dont worry about 10 available, they got a lot more than that.
Strange thing is you never see second hand ones for sale, I have been searching on eBay for months and never found one.
Wonder why?

Arrived in the mail today.
Much bigger than expected with 2.2 litre capacity.
Extemely high quality hand made item.
From the box:
- invented in 1929 by John A. Hart in NZ
- standard equipment used by the NZ troops in WW 2
- since it was invented no improvements have been made and it still has the same patent
- made in New Zealand

Luv it :)

Unfortunatly we are in a total Fire Ban, which I take seriously, so will not be doing a road test tonight (or cooking my leg of lamb in a Harding 13").

To enquire/order email Janette Dix at:

Hi All,

Have not been around for awhile due to family problems.

I am looking at getting a Thermette and am unable to locate one, I have emailed off to the email addr gordonandjan@bigpond.com that David advised was the australian distributors and have not received a response, I'm not interested in the chinese model.

Does anyone know the phone number for the distribtor.

Any help would be much appreciated, there is a 6 and 10 litre model I can get from NZ but I want the 2.2 litre Copper model.

Cheers
Kate

For those that are interested, Gordon has a small supply of Thermettes left, he has reduced the cost of them and once what he has left is sold will not be carrying any more.

Cheers

ps: I am now an owner of a Thermette.
