Title: CO seasoning chips around rim
Post by pete on Jan 13th, 2010 at 8:00pm
Have noticed around the rim of my oven the seasoning after a while seems to almost chip off just little bits here and there.I don't have a bbq with a lid so when i season or re season I do it in the oven. Its gas and i crank it up flat out and re season.Just wondering if it doesn't get hot enough.
Any thoughts ?? cheers pete

You would think that the gas oven would get hot enough

Yeah I thought so michaelb I see some of you doing them on bbq's with lids and thought that being closer to the heat they might get a little hotter.
