we had a very ugly area that we didn't know what to do with for a long time, as our interest in camp oven cooking has increased we decided to turn it into our camp cooking area.
After a lot of hard work the area is now finished & we are very pleased with it. Cheers Sue & Russ P1020254.JPG (111 KB | ) P1020247.JPG (104 KB | ) P1030167.JPG (104 KB | ) P1030205.JPG (103 KB | ) P1030250.JPG (109 KB | ) P1030252.JPG (102 KB | ) |

KD if you mean the gravel in Victoria it is sold as Tuscan toppings...the fire pit base is just dirt.
The grate was saved from an old BBQ so we can grill on it as well... |

Just to add a story to the picture, the oven on the tripod, is Sparky (Kev,s) vegetabkle soup, the Bedourie is OzJeeper's Beef Roulades, out of picture would have been PD's Chichen Coqavin. |

Hi Skip
I'm not a big fan of cactus but we have put in some red fountain grass...very easy care, looks good, gives movement and the seed heads are sterile so won't self seed everywhere else in the garden P1030557.JPG (108 KB | ) |

Gee that looks good too, an excellent choice of plant. I guess I love Cactus because it reminds me of how much I love Tequila.

Daryl the round circle is just landscape blocks from Astral Bricks works a treat, only split one so far but its still in the circle, they are probably just a concrete type base. The red bricks are just second hand solids all differnet sizes, cost about 25 cents each from the brick guy.
All the rest was just fun me and the boys and Rastas. SDC10684.jpg (81 KB | ) |
