Nice one Derek.

That camp oven mate reminds me of that DIY project which I'm sure many people on this forum would be familiar with, of cutting down old gas bottles and turning them into a multipurpose camp cooking/heating accessory.
I made up one years ago out of an old 100lb gas cylinder which worked quite well and was big enough to take quite large camp ovens.

Was maybe 12 years ago now. That was one of the original Camp Oven Mates from Southern Metal Spinners. :)

Derek, I watched your vids on youtube before I became a member of COCIA ... It was one of the things that helped me decide to become a member actually cos 'this bloke knows what he's talkin about' I thought at the time! The other reasons were seeing the friendly helpfulness of all the members when I trolled through the forums as a guest ;-)
